Chef / Experienced Cook

Key responsibilities:

  • Working alongside our resident chef and manager in a fast-paced seaside café/restaurant on both hot and cold sides of the kitchen.

  • Once the experience of our kitchen has been gained you will be required to cover days off.

Schedule:

We are open 7 days a week, therefore the role will involve working weekends and possibly some evenings for events. The prospect of monthly weekends off. Shifts approx. 9-5:30

  • 8 hour shift

  • Day shift

Experience:

  • A good knowledge of working with fresh ingredients and cooking from recipes (essential).

  • The ability to develop new menu ideas utilizing seasonal ingredients (essential).

  • Certificates in food hygiene (desired) - but not essential as training can be provided.
